Day – 1: New Delhi – Welcome & Orientation

New Delhi Airport is one of the busiest airport in India. You can book your tickets from around the globe. Mostly all the international flights arrive in late evening or night hours. Our representative receives you at the T-3, Indira Gandhi International Airport. You check-in to hotel.

Day – 2: New Delhi – Guwahati (By Flight 2 hrs)

Your flight ticket (around 10:30 AM) is booked to Guwahati. It takes around 2 hrs 30 min. You land at Guwahati airport in afternoon. Your motorcycle and support team is waiting for you in the hotel. After a brief session about the adventurous journey ‘Exotic Brahmaputra North East Motorcycling Holidays In India’. You and other companion riders take a test ride around Guwahati city. There are a lot of attractions but you drive to Kamakhya temple. This temple is known for occult beliefs.

Day – 3: Guwahati – Kaziranga (193 km/ 6 hrs)

The ride is along the life line of the north east ‘the Brahmaputra River’. The roads are four lane and quite good maintained by NHAI. You ride for 4-5 hrs to reach Kaziranga National Park. You see the tea garden estates that are spread up to the horizon.

Day – 4: Kaziranga National Park (Free Day)

Kaziranga is one of the old Sanctuary in India. This is a natural home for One – Horned world heritage site. It’s been a protected national forest for over a century now. The forest is home to 2/3 of the great One-horned Rhinoceroses. Illegal poaching of Rhinoceroses, was a major concern to the environmentalist in India. Local people are proactive for the protection of this natural reserve. During jungle safari, you explore the nature’s diversified flora & fiona. Today you have an interaction with local story tellers who tell you what you don’t explore on Lonely Planet during bonfire dinner.

Day – 5: Kaziranga – Mokokchung (215 kms/ 6 hrs)

Mokokchung is literally known as ‘The Cultural Capital of Nagaland’. You ride for 7 hrs through a mountainous and jungle road.

Day – 6: Mokokchung – Kohima (145 kms/ 6 hrs)

Kohima was named by the British as they could not pronounce the original name ‘Kewhira’. The Battle of Kohima in Nagaland, was the turning point of the Japanese “U Go” offensive into India in 1944 in the Second World War. Today you stay in a jungle camp.

Day-7: Kohima – Dimapur (80 kms/ 3 hrs)

Kohima to Dimapur is four lane highway. You descend from hilly city Kohima. Dimapur was earlier part of Assam but before independence it was merged in Nagaland. This all Nagaland is full of culture and wild life. You visit the historical village of Khonoma en-route. This village has a glorified history of war against the British army and later on the invading Japanese army.

Day-8: Dimapur – Shillong (345 kms/ 9 hrs)

Shilong is the capital of North Eastern state, Meghalaya. The litteral meaning of Meghalaya is ‘adobe of the clouds’. Shilong is located at the altitude of 1525 mtrs. Today you ride for 9 hrs & 350 kilometers. An early start is a perfect way to reach Shilong timely. The roads are smooth & well maintained.

Day-9: Shillong – Cherrapunjee (54 kms/ 2 hrs)

Now you feel ‘The Scotland of East’. The forest is wrapped in clouds. As you start with motorcycle, you drive good but wet road. You are going to reach one of the highest rainfall place on the earth.

Day-10: Cherrapunjee – Free Day

Today is a free day. You spend whole by driving locally site seeing destinations. The local cuisine is amazing as they prepare it with locally grown ingredients. Today is the last night of this adventurous journey, you have a gala dinner and experience sharing session.

Day – 11: Cherrapunjee – Guwahati (148 kms/ 4 hrs)

You drive back to Guwahati. It takes almost 5 hrs to reach. Your hotel room is available till 11:00 AM next day. Have a great experience and journey ahead!!
